The photo below is of the former Lake Arrowhead, no called Lake Boyd Callan. Freddie Williams, one of the scouts mentioned in the article, helped clear that lake bed as part of his Order of the Arrow Initiation. The scouts dragged all the brush to a pile and burned it. I wonder if the current visitors to Camp Tahuaya ever spare a thought for the guys who worked so hard there all those years ago.
